"Next Best Superstar" was the first single from the album Beautiful Intentions, by former Spice Girl, Melanie C. It was released in the UK on April 4 2005, reaching number-ten. The single reached number forty-three in Australia, making it the highest debut of a new independent artist. The song reached the top of the Germany's radio airplay chart and was awarded as best internetional hit at the 2005's German Radio Awards.
