Nexhat Daci

Nexhat Daci (pronounced /ne.'ʤat da.ʦi/) (born 26 July 1944, in Ternoc, Kosovo) served as the speaker of Assembly of Kosovo from 2001 to 2006. He is a member of the Democratic League of Kosovo.

He speaks English, Serbian, Croatian, German (passive) and also his native Albanian.

Daci was the acting president of Kosovo from January 21, 2006 when Ibrahim Rugova died from lung cancer until February 11, 2006 when Fatmir Sejdiu was elected President.
