Hi, Not from NZ myself, but would there be any interest in an attempt to make a set of distance tables for railway routes in New Zealand? (inc closed lines if there is interest)

Other Geodata could also be included if there was interest.

Maybe this is more of a WikiCities than WP project, but thought I would ask in any event...
