New Nsider was a forum created in July 26th, 2005. It was made by a user known as Smashbro964 on Nintendo NSider; he was an NSider, meaning, a member of the NSider forums. NSider had an RP board in which the users could roleplay, called Power On (RP) (also known as PORP). They shut down Star Wars roleplaying, so Smash recreated it in a forum known as New Nsider. Little did he know that he had created a fairly popular, but clandestine forum, which became the new forum for NSider role playing.

A few months later, NSider shut down the roleplay board because of spam and argumentative issues. Many users were upset as they had nowhere to roleplay. Three forums were made that were the main dominating NSider rolelplay forums, NSider III,Realm of Warriors, and New NSider. Nsider III was the headquarters of an NSider military roleplaying superpower, The Elite. It eventually became not as popular as before. New NSider continued to grow as it became the dominating revamped NSider forums. It has over six-hundred members, and has a large amount of roleplays and roleplay forums.

The Elites also were a cause of the shut down the website after many compaints of elitism and a biased nature (most of it affilated with the Elites). Most users compained about how members of the "Elite" (an online RPing group that has been known for it's hateful and bragging nature) insulted every non-elite member of the website. The forum shared many topics, including gaming, RPing areas, and media.
