The Henry Watterson Expressway does not encircle New Albany. The expressway actually ends at the Ohio River in Kentucky. I-64 then starts after crossing the Sherman Minton Bridge in New Albany. I-265 then veers off and encircles New Albany, Clarksville and Jeffersonville. This I-265 Interstate is called the Lee Hamilton Highway.

(This has been corrected).

[edit] Treatment to prisoner in overcrowding Jail

My son is in the new Albany Jail and has been sleeping on the floor and the cells are drity and nasty. They gave him a mat from a prisoner that left and never cleaned it off from the time he was arrested on 3-6-2006. He has told me that there are about 40 prisoners to a cell. He has asked for medial treatment for about a week now for his tooth. It is abscessed and he has a rash on him.
He was going to get it pulled before he was arrested. He also told me that they only give them coffee or water to drink. I feel this physical

and mentally cruel and inhuman .I feel such punishment needs to be looked in this institution .Please help me get the proper authorities through approved channels to fix this matter.

                                            Sincerely,
                                                     D Briggs
