Newville is a small unincorporated community in the northeastern portion of Prince George County, Virginia.

Newville is located at the corner of Pole Run Road (State Route 616) and Hines Road (State Route 625). Surrounding main roads include: Old Town Road, Lebanon Road, and James River Drive (State Route 10).

The town is cornered by a general store called Newville Country Store. There are two churches in the area: Lebanon Baptist Church and Newville United Methodist Church. Lebanon Baptist Church is located at the corner of Pole Run Road and Lebanon Road and is attended predominantly by members of African-American descent. Newville United Methodist Church is located on Hines Road just north of the Hines and Pole Run intersection, and is a predominantly Caucasian church. Newville has many old houses that date back over 50 to even over 100 years old.

There were once a vast number of farms in the area. However, due to a recent demand in new housing, many of the farms have been sold to developers to create 5 acre lots for homes to be built upon. Such communities that have popped up in Newville are Ward's Creek Estates and Lancaster Farms. Older homes are valued at about $130,000 compared to many of the newer homes being built averaging around $300,000.
