Newtown Plaza (also known as "Newtown shopping Centre" and "Centro Newtown"), is a sub regional shopping centre situated close to the intersection of New Town and Risdon Roads, Newtown, within the northern suburbs of Hobart.

The shopping Centre contains 2 major department stores (K-mart and Coles), several speciality stores and carparking for well over 500 cars.

The shopping Centre was purchased by the Centro Group in 1997 and has undergone numerous renovations and provisions for extra speciality store space.
