Newt Rayburn

Newt Rayburn is an artist and musician from Oxford, Mississippi.

He is most famously known as "Neuter Cooter", the songwriter, bass guitar player, and artist in the punk metal band, The Cooters.

He also has had an extensive career as Art Director of several national magazines including Living Blues, Profane Existence, Assault With Intent To Free, and The Oxford American, where he won a National Magazine Award in 1999 for his Southern Music Magazine.
