News Digital Media is the digital division of News Limited. News Digital Media is a dynamic next generation media company that connects Australians to a platform of integrated sites spanning the categories of news, sports, entertainment, lifestyle, social networking and classifieds.

The sites New Digital Media currently operates include NEWS.com.au, FOXSPORTS.com.au, truelocal.com.au, homesite.com.au, CareerOne.com.au, CARSguide.com.au, in2mobi.com.au, along with partly-owned realestate.com.au along with related activities involving News Limited newspapers, and the Australian versions of Fox Interactive Media sites MySpace.com, IGN.com.

News Digital Media has a diverse audience base which is due to the highly relevant and engaging content across all sites. Many of the sites allow their audience to connect with their community of interest via the tools and services available to consume and publish content.


Richard Freudenstein was appointed chief executive of News Digital Media in August 2006. His role is to ensure the rapid growth of News Limited's online operations into a wider business, not just for the internet. This includes mobile, broadband and other technologies.

Nick Leeder will take the role of chief operating officer and second in command next to Richard Freudenstein.
