NewsGator Online is a web-based news aggregator for browsing weblogs and other news feeds. It originally charged a fee for usage, but eventually allowed users to register for free.

On May 17, 2005 NewsGator announced it had acquired Bradbury Software for their Windows news aggregator FeedDemon. Then on October 4, 2005, they announced that they had acquired Ranchero Software for their Macintosh news aggregator NetNewsWire. After purchasing FeedDemon they added the ability for users to synchronize their news subscriptions to the NewsGator Online service. They have also changed NetNewsWire's synchronization feature to work through their service.
