Newhaven (Victoria, in the South Gippsland region. Located on Phillip Island, adjacent to the channel known as The Narrows, it is the town on the island side of the bridge linking Phillip Island to the mainland. It's economy is primarily based around tourism, although farming and fishing are important. The local postcode is 3925. Located in Newhaven is Newhaven College, the only senior school on the island. As of 2006 The College teaches Prep and from Grade 3 to Grade 12.
