The Newhalen River is a river in southern Alaska, at about 59°26′N 154°32′W. It begins at Six Mile Lake and flows south to Iliamna Lake. It enters the lake 5 km (3 miles) south of Iliamna. The river is about 40 km (25 miles) long.
