Newfoundland Hockey League

The Newfoundland Hockey League is a league of hockey teams in Newfoundland. John M. Tobin was awarded the position of Honorary Secretary by the league for his contributions to hockey and sport in general, and held this position for more than 40 years. Champions are awarded the Herder Memorial Trophy.
The HNL is divided into an Eastern and Western conference which consist of three teams each. The Western conference consists of Corner Brook, Deer Lake and Grand Falls-Windsor. The Eastern conference includes Conception Bay
