Newcastle Town FC are a football club based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, England. They play in division one of the North West Counties Football League and also field a "youth" team in the Staffordshire County Senior League.

After originating as a park-football Sunday League team, they joined the Mid-Cheshire League in 1982-83, claiming the second division title in their first season. The second division was then disbanded, and the league run with only one section from the 1983-84 season. Newcastle spent four seasons at that level, finishing in the top four positions each time before being promoted to the North West Counties League for 1987-88. After a period of consolidation, a runner-up spot in the 1991-92 season enabled the club to be promoted to the North West Counties League Premier Division, a status they have retained ever since.

In 1996-97, the club had a run to the First Round proper of the FA Cup, where they were drawn at home to Notts County. Unfortunately, their home ground was not considered suitable for a tie of this magnitude and the game was switched to Stoke City's Victoria Ground, where the league club won 2-0. Three seasons later, they had an extended run in the FA Vase, all the way to the semi-finals where they were beaten by the eventual winners Deal Town over two legs.
