New Tribalism can refer to the resurgence in militant ethnic identity following the end of the Cold War (for example in the Former Yugoslavia).

It can also refer to the neo-Tribalism movement or ideology in general, or to certain extremists within neo-Tribalism generally known as the New tribalists.
