New Youth Forum (Traditional Chinese: 新青年論壇) is a political party in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. The youth group was established in October 2001, and is currently led by convenor Regina Yeung Sum-yu.

The basic platform of the group is to promote youth participation in political and social affairs, to serve the community, and to focus on the rights of the youth.

The convenor of the group, Regina Yeung, attempted to run for a seat in the 2003 District Council elections but failed. She ran under the banner of the New Century Forum during the 2000 Legislation Council elections before the establishment of the group.

Introduction of New Youth Forum

The New Youth Forum was founded in Year 2000. It is a non – governmental organization which work with young people to get youth voice heard at Hong Kong government and community.

One of the many tasks of the New Youth Forum is to provide professional political training to the young people in Hong Kong. The Forum provides various services and activities promoting the social, educational and cultural development for the Hong Kong young people.

In the last few years, we have organized a series of activities, such as research related to the social issue, training courses, study tours, etc. All these activities have attracted the attention of both the young people of Hong Kong and the media.

Currently, there are over 200 active volunteers and more than 100 voting members. On average, the Forum sees an annual service attendance of over 10,000 who is age from 16 to 36.

In the future, we will encourage more young people concern the social issue of Hong Kong and Mainland China, in order to achieve the goal of "Rooted in Hong Kong, with hearts connected to motherland ".
