New York State Route 74 is a state highway in New York located within Essex County. It extends from Exit 34 of Interstate 87 in the hamlet of Severance to the western shore of Lake Champlain in Ticonderoga.

  • The route goes past the entrance to Fort Ticonderoga.
  • Even though the eastern terminus is at Lake Champlain, there is a seasonal ferry that carries cars across the lake into Vermont.
