New York State Route 439 was a state route located in Staten Island and Brooklyn. The designation applied to Forest Avenue on Staten Island and the .75 mile eastern terminus of Victory Boulevard, stretching from the Goethals Bridge to the Bay Ridge Ferry.
Across the Narrows, the 439 designation continued along Bay Ridge Avenue, 4th Street and Shore Road Drive, ending at the Belt Parkway. The designation was completely removed by 1972.
Despite the number being decommissioned in New York, the number had carried over to New Jersey and still exists today in Elizabeth, New Jersey as Route 439.
