[edit] Pearl River-Havestraw Expressway

From Pearl River to Nanuet, a segment of NY 304 is a limited-access highway. This was part of an attempt to transform the road into the Pearl River-Haverstraw Expressway. The NYSDOT failed to build this road north of the NY 59 interchange, however, they succeeded in realigning NY 304 in New City north of Laurel Road.
