New York State Route 248 is a state highway in a remote part of the Southern Tier region of the state, close to Pennsylvania in Allegany and Steuben counties. In the former, it runs mostly east-west from its junction with NY 19 in Stannards; but in the latter turns northwards to its east end at NY 36 in Canisteo.
