New York State Route 205 is a state highway in New York, running from near the city of Oneonta to the town of Otsego in Otsego County. NY 397 is a two-lane highway its entire length.
The original southern terminus of NY 205 is at the southern terminus of its duplex with NY 23. Based on reference markers, it was extended southward to I-88 exit 12.
In the town of Otsego, NY 205 turns right to duplex with NY 80 for its final 2.1 miles, ending at NY 23.
