New York State Route 154 was a state highway in New York State. It began at US 4 in Troy and ended at NY 22 in Berlin. It was located entirely within Rensselaer County.
The portion of NY 154 that was absorbed by NY 355, Main Street of the hamlet of Poestenkill west of NY 351 still bears NYSDOT Reference Markers for NY 154.
Beyond 351, the original route is now Rensselaer County Route 40, which take a winding path up the mountain alongside the Poestenkill Creek. After reaching its highest point, it descends to the valley, and the hamlet of Berlin.
