New York State Route 126 is a state highway in northern New York, USA. The highway extends between Jefferson County and Lewis County, proceeding in a roughly northwest to southeast direction.

[edit] Jefferson County

NY 126 extends eastward from its western terminus at NY 12 at the eastern city line of Watertown. After intersecting NY 26, it crosses the Black River from West Carthage to Carthage and then turns southward to the county line.

In Lewis County, NY 126 runs southward along the east bank of the Black River before turning eastward. It intersects NY 410 at Naumberg and ends in the Village of Croghan at NY 812, its eastern terminus.

Until 1938, NY 126 was the state highway designation along Mamaroneck Avenue in Westchester County between U.S. Route 1 in Mamaroneck and NY 125 in White Plains.
