New Sound Radio is a radio station broadcasting from a recently-built studio which is located close to the city centre of Nottingham in central England.

The station broadcasts nothing but back-to-back popular music; tracks which have entered the UK Singles Chart in the last 30 years. In addition station also broadcasts live national and international news updates at the top of each hour, followed by a local weather report for Nottingham, and the surrounding area.

New Sound Radio was created by Andrew Clewes (Born 14 December 1989 in Nottingham, England.) Andrew is currently a presenter on 103 The Eye (the first community radio station on-air in Britain -- broadcasting to Melton Mowbray and The Vale of Belvoir,) and has worked very closely with the station since its launch back in November 2005.

New Sound Radio hope to begin 3 day, Restricted Service Licence (RSL) broadcasts on the FM band in Nottingham in the not too distant future.
