New Rhodes

British indie-pop four-piece New Rhodes formed in Bristol and moved east to London. Though technically unsigned, they have put out three singles through Moshi Moshi, the label behind Hot Chip, Tom Vek and Architecture in Helsinki.
Their influences include The Smiths, the Strokes, the Cure and The Velvet Underground. The band is currently touring in the UK and in addition to headlining they have supported the likes of Razorlight, The Dears, Delays, Hope of the States, The Killers, The Gliteratti, and The Futureheads and recently completed a UK tour as support for Bloc Party.
New Rhodes' debut single, "I Wish I Was You", released in July 2004 on Moshi Moshi. It charted in the Top 75 (and number 7 in the Indie Charts).
Their last single "From the Beginning" was released in August 2005.
The band are preparing for the release of their debut album "Songs From The Lodge", the release of which will be accompanied by the single "The History Of Britain".
