New Pudsey railway station is in West Yorkshire, England, on the Caldervale Line 9 km (5¾ miles) west of Leeds towards Bradford Interchange, Halifax, Huddersfield, Manchester Victoria and Blackpool North. It serves as a commuter station for the western edge of the Leeds conurbation.

This modern station, opened on March 6th 1967 is located in Farsley 1.8 km away (1.1 miles) to the north-west of Pudsey town centre. The town was originally served by a loop line from the line mentioned above, opened by the Great Northern Railway. There were two stations on the loop: Pudsey Lowtown and Pudsey Greenside located at either end of the town centre. New Pudsey is situated just under a mile west of Stanningley for Farsley station, which closed on 30 December 1967, having supposedly been replaced by New Pudsey though the two catchment areas were largely different.

The station was featured in an 1969 episode of BBC TV's Monty Python's Flying Circus entitled "You're No Fun Anymore" in a sketch (Man turns into Scotsman) where Michael Palin is a man who turns to a "Scotsman". Graham Chapman and Eric Idle also briefly appear on platform 1 as Mr and Mrs Samuel Brainsample.

New Pudsey station is staffed. The ticket office is open from 0555-1900 Monday-Saturday.

During Monday to Saturday daytimes, there is a train every 15 minutes to Leeds; in the evenings this service is every 30 minutes. Two trains an hour continue beyond Leeds: one to York and the other to Selby. On Sundays there is also a half-hourly service with hourly service onwards to York.

Westbound, during Monday to Saturday daytimes there is a train every 15 minutes to Bradford Interchange and Halifax; this operates half-hourly evenings and Sundays. Two trains continue to Manchester Victoria, one to Blackpool North and one to Wakefield Westgate via Huddersfield. On Sundays there is an hourly service to Manchester Victoria and one train per hour to either Blackpool North or Huddersfield.
