New Oxford Street

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

New Oxford Street [0.2 mile (0.3km) in length] is a shopping street in London's West End, an eastward continuation of Oxford Street proper from St Giles' Circus to Bloomsbury Way, Holborn.

New Oxford Street suffers from bus congestion in the evenings, often the entire length of the road is one big bus traffic jam. There is a plan to solve the bus traffic problems by using a contraflow on Bloomsbury Way.
