New Old House
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
New Old House is a term used to describe a new construction of a residential house designed according to a traditional style, like Colonial Revival architecture, Federal architecture, Victorian architecture, etc. For example, quite often a New Old House is a new home that is built to resemble a Victorian-era farmhouse, or a Colonial Revival Cape Code, or a Prairie House. The key to New Old House design is adherence to a traditional architectural style while using modern building techniques and modern materials.
