New Masters is an album by singer/songwriter Cat Stevens. The album was released on December, 1967 on the Deram record label. "The First Cut Is the Deepest" became a hit for Rod Stewart and Sheryl Crow and has been covered by several other artists, although it did little for Stevens himself.
