New Jersey American Water is the largest water utility in the U.S. State of New Jersey, serving over two million people in 176 communities throughout the state, primarily in Central Jersey and South Jersey. Headquartered in Voorhees Township, New Jersey American Water is a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Water.
After two years in which the two operated as New Jersey American Water subsidiaries, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) approved the merger of Elizabethtown Water and Mount Holly Water into New Jersey American Water.[1][2]
