New Inn is a large housing development built around the original villages of New Inn and Lower New Inn south of Pontypool, Torfaen in South Wales. It is considered to be relatively affluent and, along with nearby Griffithstown, forms the wealthiest part of Torfaen.

Although New Inn no longer has a central village area as such; The Highway is the main thoroughfare through the town which starts near Pontypool Park at the northern end and finishes near Cwmbran at the southern end.

New Inn has a small selection of public houses (most notably the Lower New Inn, which is popular with young people and the Greenlawn Social Club which has a distinctly older clientele). New Inn also has a fire station on New Road and is home to New Panteg Rugby Club.

New Inn is the only area of Torfaen to appear on the Welsh version of the Monopoly board.

It does not have a Welsh name, although Torfaen County Borough Council have used 'Y Tarfarn Newydd' on more than one occasion on leaflets.
