New Haven-Hartford-Springfield Line

[edit] Planned Commuter Railline

The New Haven-Hartford-Springfield line is a planned commuter railline that should run from New Haven, Connecticut to Springfield, Massachusetts. This in part is needed as a way of curbing the growing automobile traffic issues in the Hartford/Springfield metropolitan area. This will also give cheaper alternatives to commuting to New York City where a commuter from north of New Haven can use the proposed line instead of Amtrak.
