New Hampshire State Prison for Men

New Hampshire State Prison for Men is a state prison in New Hampshire, United States. Located in Concord, New Hampshire, it is equipped to accept maximum, medium, and minimum security prisoners.
Opened in 1878 to replace an earlier prison built in 1812, State Prison for Men is the State of New Hampshire's oldest prison facility. Renovated and expanded in the 1980s, it includes a 60-bed secure psychiatric unit, and is the only facility operated by the New Hampshire Department of Corrections which houses maximum security male prisoners.
