[edit] Route description

The southern terminus of NH 155 is in Epping at the junction with NH 125 (Calef Highway). Only 0.4 mile (0.7 km) north the road crosses the county line into Strafford County and the town of Lee. NH 155 travels through the center of Lee, and then makes a northerly turn toward Dover, where NH 155A heads east into Durham. Route 155 then meets US 4 at a half-diamond interchange, which only allows eastbound traffic from US 4 access to NH 155, and Route 155 traffic can only join US 4 westbound. Route 155 then meets the northern terminus of NH 155A before traveling along the western edge of Durham and the eastern part of Madbury. The northern terminus of NH 155 is in Dover at the junction with NH Route 9 just west of the exit 8 interchange of the Spaulding Turnpike. Total length of Route 155 is approximately 12.0 miles (19.3 km).

  • There is currently ongoing construction on NH 155 in Madbury as part of a project to replace a bridge over railroad tracks as well as relocate NH 155's intersection with Pudding Hill Road. The project is expected to be completed in autumn of 2007.[1]
