New Hampshire Route 153 (NH 153) is a secondary north–south highway in Strafford and Carroll Counties in the eastern portion of the U.S. state of New Hampshire. The road runs from Farmington north to Conway.
The southern terminus of NH 153 is at the junction with NH 11 in Farmington. The highway winds north through Sanbornville and Wakefield. South of Effingham the road bends east, skirting the eastern shore of Province Lake, and crosses the border into Maine in the area of Newfield.(map) North of the lake the road turns westward and then travels due north, with the road laying right on the Maine/New Hampshire border for 1.2 miles (2 km).
Northward the road passes through Effingham Falls and Eaton. The northern terminus of NH-153 is at the junction with NH 16/NH 113 in Conway. In Conway NH 153 is locally named Pleasant Street.
Total length of Route 153 is approximately 50.5 miles (81.3 km).
