New Fairfield High School is the only secondary school within New Fairfield, Connecticut. It enrolls approximately 900 students annually. It is connected to New Fairfield Middle School (grades sixth through eighth). NFHS is sometimes noted for the 2005-2006 school, year. There were an unusually high number of bomb threats, although no bombs were ever found within the school. There have been no bomb threats in the school in the 2007-2007 school year as of December 4, 2006.
