New Age (Velvet Underground song)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

New Age is the fifth song from the 1970 The Velvet Underground album "Loaded". It is one of the songs to be recorded after actual vocalist and songwriter Lou Reed left the band. Therefore, it features Doug Yule on vocals.

New Age is a sarcastic homage to actress Kim Novak. It is also considered as the first usage of the term "New Age"[citation needed] in popular culture.
