New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina:

1838 vintage light house with bottom story was smashed by storm surge was still standing (just) when I took this photo. This is at the east end of West End Park on Lake Pontchartrain, at the only remaining bit of historic w:New Basin Canal.

The lighthouse collapsed on 28 November 2005.
