[edit] Primary Information about Eureka Seven vol. 1: New Wave
Within this all new and first video game based off of Eureka Seven, it is said that it will not truly revolve around Renton and Eureka, or many other characters within the anime series. Throughout the game, you will primarily be playing as a young man by the name Summer Sturgeon that is transferring to a new military academy which specializes in LFO pilot training. Throughout the game, drama and romance will be reflected due to the main character having a lover. Thus, it seems that this game is truly a side story of Eureka Seven that seems to incorporate it's general traits, only to a lesser extent. Cinematics will also be seen as far more common within this game instead of direct action, resulting in a more unmotivated response. When battleing within your mech however, it is known that no drastic weaponry can be purchased, or any true movement of speed can be performed. Overall in combat, the standard combat of you having to stand still while shooting at the locked on target combined with poor artificial intelligence will be reflected. Such poor examples of artificial intelligence vary from shooting at a specific mech from afar with a sniper rifle and result in no response even if the beam shot right by their face. Overall, it seems that Eureka Seven vol. 1: New Wave is truly only for the hardcore fans of Eureka Seven that also tend to like the standard Mech Warrior theme. However, ariel battle, tank battle, and physical running around style battle are additional features.
