Neville Trotter

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sir Neville George Trotter (born 27 January 1932) is a retired British Conservative politician.

Trotter was elected as MP for Tynemouth at the February 1974 general election until he retired at the 1997 election. After his retirement, Tynemouth was won by Labour's Alan Campbell.

Trotter is recalled locally principally as a godsend for would-be satirists and vandals as a few strokes of the pen could reduce his name to "Evil Rotter".
