The 1991 college football game between Weber State, and Nevada will go down as one of the greatest comebacks in the history of Division 1-AA college football. The game was played in Reno, Nevada, the year before Nevada jumped to Division 1A.
Weber State dominated the first half with a 42-7 halftime lead. Chris Vargas, the back-up quarterback was a legend in the game, throwing touchdown pass after touchdown pass. He managed to erase the 35 point defecit and helped Nevada win the game 56-49. The winning head coach was hall of famer Chris Ault, who has compiled a 163-63-1 record at Nevada.
