Neuritis

Neuritis is the general inflammation of the peripheral nervous system. Symptoms depend on the nerves involved, but may include pain; paresthesias; paresis; or hypesthesia (numbness).
Specific uses include:
- Brachial neuritis
- Optic neuritis
- Peripheral neuropathy, also known as Peripheral neuritis
- Vestibular neuritis, a viral infection of the vestibular nerve
