Talk:Netroots

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a rather simplistic definition, isn't it? Netroots is simply an ATM? I submit that netroots involves grassroots activism, get-out-the-vote efforts, political framing, debate and exchange of ideas, messaging, and interconnecting local and regional efforts.

Should we have links that are examples of netroots?

6/27 edited out a massive link plug for 'mitt romoney'.

[edit] Nutroots

Why does "Nutroots" redirect here without an explanation as to the meaning of the term? --72.197.101.11 03:07, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Hey, just four days later it doesn't. It deserves mention; "nutroots" is becoming a very popular pejorative and isn't included, while ridiculous neologisms like "blogswarm" are. For the record, "blogswarm" redirects to "blog" with no explanation of just what a "blogswarm" is supposed to be. Adding a fair explanation of "nutroots is on my to-do list. Actually, it is my to-do list. --BDD 19:53, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
