Netherlands National Institute for Public Health and the Environment

The Netherlands National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (Dutch: Rijks Instituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieuhygiene or simply RIVM), is a Dutch research institute. The Institute is an independent agency of the Netherlands Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport which does research mainly in the fields of public health, environment, and nature. RIVM is located in Bilthoven and employs 1550 people.
