Nestopia is an open source GPL Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) emulator for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. Nestopia, like other video game emulators, can run game files called ROMs for the NES. According to its documentation, Nestopia is "designed to be as accurate as possible", though it also has many additional features that are found in other NES emulators. Nestopia features cycle-exact CPU emulation, wave-accurate video emulation, and supports over 180 memory mappers.
