Nes, Sør-Trøndelag

Nes is a former municipality in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway.

It was created when Bjugn municipality was split in three on January 1, 1899, which also created a third municipality named Skjørn. At that time Nes had a population of 1,258.

On 1 January 1964 Nes was reunited with Bjugn. Before the merger Nes had a population of 1,107.
