A native of northern Minnesota, I grew up on a farm and got hooked on Apple II computers in high school. I am interested in many things (genealogy, video editing), but tend to post on issues regarding the environment and alternative energy, as I see that as the most important issue and opportunity of our day. As an engineer, efficiency comes naturally. I drive an efficient car (see my posts on PriusChat.com) but would prefer to bike to work.
