Distribution of N. murudensis.

Nepenthes murudensis (Latin: Murud = mountain in Sarawak to which it is endemic, -ensis = from) is a highland species of pitcher plant from Borneo. It is of putative hybrid origin: its two original parent species are though to be N. tentaculata and N. reinwardtiana. It is intermediate in form between these two species.
