Nepenthes klossii (after H. S. Kloss, who discovered it in 1913) is an unusual carnivorous pitcher plant species of the genus Nepenthes. It is endemic to New Guinea. Along with N. aristolochioides it is the only species in the genus to employ domed pitchers with white patches that allow light to enter. It has been suggested that this serves to attract flying insects in a similar manner to the North American pitcher plants Darlingtonia californica and Sarracenia minor.
