Nepanagar is a city and a municipality in East Nimar district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

As of 2001 India censusGRIndia, Nepanagar had a population of 31,658. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Nepanagar has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 77%, and female literacy is 61%.
